The L shape is kind of two lakes in one. The Eastern section of the lake has a very varied bottom with loads of lumps and bumps, lots of small bars and quite “egg box” like on the bottom. Then there is a massive bar that runs North/South from the inner elbow of the L, and to the West of this bar the L shape is a steady 8 ft deep bowl. Species include Carp, Tench, Bream, Perch, Pike, Rudd. It’s probably the easiest carp lake on the complex.
